Why should I use TrafficTesters.com

Since 2005, our mission has been to test and review a variety of online traffic and advertising sources for our customers. We spend thousands of dollars each month to investigate who delivers ON their promises, and who delivers hype. We give you the inside information on where to focus your advertising efforts.

How do you test online traffic and advertsing sources?

We use a process just like you. First, we search for a likely traffic or advertising source which isn’t overly expensive (range is free to approximately $50) as we know everyone’s budget is limited. Our members will often recommend sites to test, which we do on a random basis.

Second, we register using one of our several websites and generic names. We want the process of testing to be as anonymous as possible. We pay the fee that is listed, just like you.

Third, we set-up our campaign with tracking so we can obtain statistics on number of visitors and the resulting sales. Lastly, we publish our findings in the form of our reviews which are available to members only.

What do you mean by "tested" traffic and advertising sources?

When we "test" a source, we use a tracking link to record the number of visitors we received. We also place tracking code on our sales page that tells us if the visit resulted in a purchase. By doing this we can determine when a source provided us visitors and sales.

Can I expect the same results?

Many factors such as your website design, promotional page (splash page, home page), the demand for your product, and much more will play a part in the success of any generated traffic or use of advertising sources.

Our purpose for testing is to provide you with information on which sources actually provide real visitors and which sources provide northing more than promises. This will help you to be a better informed and more knowledgeable consumer.

For example, you’ll find very popular and heavily advertised sources listed in our test results area that provide absolutely NO VISITORS. Access to this type of information will help you make a decision on where you want to spend your advertising dollars.

What happens after I submit my order?

After submitting your order via PayPal or 2Checkout, they will validate the payment. Once the validation of funds is complete, PayPal or 2Checkout responds to TrafficTesters.com that you have successfully ordered a subscription. Sometimes this processing can take up to 24 hours.

Upon receipt of your order, the TrafficTesters Team sets up your account and a login email is sent to your payment email address. When you login for the first time you should change your password. You will see “changeme” in the password box---please do so.

The TrafficTesters Team will also send you an email thanking you for your order confirming your login email was sent and the activation of your website in the advertising coop (free promotion of your website driving visitors to your business).

How do I access the member's area?

You may access the members area by clicking on the “Sign In” or “My Account” at the very top of the page. It will take you to a login box where you will enter your payment email and your password.

The other way to get to the login box is to enter the URL for the Members Area: http://www.traffictesters.com/members.htm

Are there any restrictions on the number of tested traffic and advertising sources I can use?

No. Once you are a member of TrafficTesters.com you may access any of the over 550 tested traffic and advertising source reviews.

If there are over 550 tested sources and reviews, how can I find a specific vendor?

After you gain access (login) to the members’ area, you will be given three (3) options for displaying the test results and reviews.

• CheatSheet: The ‘”CheatSheet” is a listing of our TOP tested sources as recommended by our members. This is a good place to start.
• By Dated Tested: This method ALWAYS starts with the most recently tested sources and works your way backwards. We’ve been testing sources since 2005, so some of the reviews are outdated as things can change very quickly in the online advertising industry.
• Alphabetical Order: Use this option if you know exactly which source(s) you are looking for.

When a traffic source isn't highlighted (in the members area), does that mean it is a scam?

Not necessarily. Be sure to read the comments for each source. It may mean the source provided visitors, but we did not record any sales. Or, perhaps the product wasn’t a good fit for our target website/product. Make sure when trying any source that you start with the smallest package available (within reason) and TRACK your results.

I'm new to all of this, can you provide information on how to track my campaign?

Yes. We encourage everyone to include tracking in the URL address they provide to a vendor. You may track visitors / sales using the tracking information available from your web hosting providers, or simply provide your own tracking URL. While there are many vendors available, a free service www.ProTrackerPlus.com allows you to track up to five websites at no cost.
